Meet Our Providers

Ashley Argrave, AuD

Ashley, a native of Baton Rouge, LA, is a child of deaf adults (CODA). She has numerous special skills that include advocating, interpreting, coordinating events, and fund raising for the deaf and hard of hearing community. She obtained her B.S. in Marketing from Nicholls State University in 2008, then became an educational interpreter for East Baton Rouge Parish School System for their Deaf and Hard of Hearing mainstream program at LaSalle Elementary. She achieved her Masters in Teaching: Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Ed: K-5 from the University of New Orleans in 2014. She then became a teacher of DHH at LaSalle Elementary in 2013 and served as the Exceptional Students Services lead teacher from 2014-2015.

Currently, she is a Doctor of Audiology at Scallan Hearing Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She received her Doctorate in May of 2019 from LSU Health Sciences Center. Her clinical interests include hearing aids, Cochlear Implants, pediatrics, and auditory processing. Ashley serves on the advisory board at Louisiana School for the Deaf as well as being an active member of the Deaf Education Alliance. She was the director for Deaf Focus Kidz Kamp 2019 which is an all-inclusive, language accessible summer camp for children who experience hearing loss. She looks forward to continuing to serve people who experience hearing loss in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas.
