Meet Our Providers
DR. KEVIN TRIPP Au.D., CCC-A
Kevin Tripp was born in Searcy, and grew up in Griffithville, AR. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders from Harding University in 2005, he entered the Doctor of Audiology program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He received his doctorate from UAMS in 2009. He worked at Arkansas Otolaryngology Center in Little Rock for nearly 3 years before joining Sound Advice in the Spring of 2011. Dr. Tripp has also served as an adjunct professor in the Dept. of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Harding University since 2008. His primary professional interests are aural rehabilitation, counseling and hearing aid fittings. He strongly believes that getting the best possible result requires spending time discussing a patient’s specific problems and goals to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Dr. Tripp and his wife, Tianna, live in Searcy. They have one daughter, Katie. His favorite time of year is the fall, when you are most likely to find him in a deer stand.
“I’m blessed to be working in a field that I enjoy so much. I’m very passionate about what I do for a living. Helping people with their hearing means they can enjoy living life more. Hearing our family, sounds in nature, enjoying ourselves out in groups, these are things that are important. Too many people just put up with it. You don’t have to feel isolated or give up activities that you love. Better hearing is possible for most of the people that we work with, and it can make a big difference in a person’s life.”
DR. LINDSEY SLOAN Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Lindsey Sloan is a native of Willard, MO, just north of Springfield, and first moved to Arkansas to begin her undergraduate studies. She graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders. From there, she moved to Little Rock to begin her doctoral studies. Lindsey received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). After spending many years in the Natural State, it is safe to say that Arkansas has staked its claim!
Lindsey enjoys quality time with her family and friends, traveling, singing, a good cup of coffee (that’s a little bit of coffee with a whole lot of creamer and sugar), trying new restaurants, and is actively involved with her church. She loves working in a profession that directly affects a person’s quality of life, and enjoys the relationships she is able to form with her patients.
